William T. (Terry) Adkins, Jr was born in Jasper, Alabama. Terry was the only child of a military family. His childhood years were filled with life at many U.S. Navy port towns and summers spent in rural Alabama.

Terry’s first encounter with Rotary was as a scholarship recipient while attending High School. After attending the University of Alabama, Terry started his path forward as an entrepreneur in St Marys Georgia. He is the owner of Express Printing with offices in Kingsland, Brunswick, and Waycross Georgia.

In 1986 Rotary officially became a part of Terry’s life when he joined the Rotaract Club of Camden County Georgia. Terry became a member of the Rotary Club of Camden County in 1988 where he served for almost 3 decades. Terry joined the Rotary Club of Brunswick Georgia in 2017.

Terry has held many Rotary leadership positions at the Club and District levels. He is a Paul Harris and Polio Plus Society Member, Paul Harris Fellow, Bequest Society Member and a Major Donor of The Rotary Foundation.

Terry serves the Georgia Rotary Student Program as President of its Foundation. For his support of GRSP he has been recognized as Will Watt, Hugh Thomas, Kendall Weisiger, Jake Cheatham and Ronnie Waller Fellow.

Terry has two daughters and 5 Grandchildren. He enjoys fishing, cooking, travel and entertaining friends and family. Terry and his wife, Dr. Lynn Leaphart call the entire coast of Georgia home.

Danny initially went to college on an athletic scholarship in wrestling. While at college, he expanded his athletic participation and scholarships by starting with the soccer team, tennis team, cheerleading squad and power lifting team. By default, all his electives were in the Physical Education Department. Thus, he earned a fourth bachelor’s degree, in Fitness/Wellness, while majoring in Christianity, Ministry and Music. As if being a full-time college student were not enough, Danny attended Wiregrass Technical College four nights weekly and earned a diploma in Auto Body Collision and Repair. Upon graduation from college, Danny entered full-time local church ministry. Danny was called as an Evangelist at the age of fourteen. This calling led to speaking opportunities at large crusades, rallies, camps and churches. Ultimately, he was ordained and licensed as a Southern Baptist Pastor/Evangelist. The Ministry has consumed his life from 1984 until present. In 1994, Danny joined the United States Army. He served eight years and was honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant (E6).  Danny has four daughters and three sons-in-law. He is currently Commercial Account Executive with Ray & Son Heating & Air Conditioning and Bi-Vocational Pastor of a Gateway Baptist Church, Valdosta, Georgia.

When asked what he is most passionate about, Danny said, “I love people. People need love. So, I just try to make people feel loved and maybe do some good along the way.”
