While at college, he expanded his athletic participation and scholarships by starting with the soccer team, tennis team, cheerleading squad and power lifting team. By default, all his electives were in the Physical Education Department. Thus, he earned a fourth bachelor’s degree, in Fitness/Wellness, while majoring in Christianity, Ministry and Music. As if being a full-time college student were not enough, Danny attended Wiregrass Technical College four nights weekly and earned a diploma in Auto Body Collision and Repair. Upon graduation from college, Danny entered full-time local church ministry. Danny was called as an Evangelist at the age of fourteen. This calling led to speaking opportunities at large crusades, rallies, camps and churches. Ultimately, he was ordained and licensed as a Southern Baptist Pastor/Evangelist. The Ministry has consumed his life from 1984 until present. In 1994, Danny joined the United States Army. He served eight years and was honorably discharged as Staff Sergeant (E6).  Danny has four daughters and three sons-in-law. He is currently Commercial Account Executive with Ray & Son Heating & Air Conditioning and Bi-Vocational Pastor of a Gateway Baptist Church, Valdosta, Georgia.

When asked what he is most passionate about, Danny said, “I love people. People need love. So, I just try to make people feel loved and maybe do some good along the way.”
