We are currently hosting the Wayne County Cares Community-Wide Food Drive, a community-wide effort running through October 30 to help stock local food pantries and support families throughout Wayne County.
Local businesses, churches, and organizations are serving as collection locations, and our Rotary members are helping coordinate donation boxes, pickups, and community outreach. We’ve also created a “Fill the Box” challenge to encourage participating locations and community members to help spread the word and get involved.
I’ve attached our food drive flyer. Since the drive is still underway, we don’t have project photos or final collection numbers yet, but I would be happy to send a follow-up after October 30 with photos and the final impact of the drive.
We’d love to have the project shared with District 6920 if you feel it would be a good fit.
Thank you!
